NEPAL TRIP BOOKING AND PAYMENT:

When ready after planning a trip you for booking, must send Nepal Mountain Company Pvt Ltd a form filled with full details of your passport and of the areas and trip chosen with
35 % non-refundable of chosen trip amount, this will be added with the full balance payment on your arrival in Nepal.

On receiving passport details with scanned / photo-copy, along with booking forms, then we will send you a full confirmation with receipts of the deposit payments.

Please contact thehimalayanjourneys.com for direct deposit to our bank account and as well for Credit Card payment, we do accept Visa or Master Card with extra surcharge of
04 % as a levy charge.

NEPAL TRIP BOOKING, CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHANGES:

Trip cancellation has to be done within duration of two weeks with minimum of Ten days before your arrival in Nepal for related trip departure this should be made in writing.

  • Cancellation shall be valid only after receiving a notice by the company.
    Trip will be termed as canceled with cancellation fees of 30% which will be deducted from your advance payment on booking.
  • There will be no refund of CANCELLATION NOTICE of less than Ten days, and if he or she quits and leaves a certain trip for any other reasons or whatsoever purpose, either voluntarily or involuntarily, the company will not provide refund or reimburse the client in order we can make a letter to claim from your valid insurance if needed.
  • If you are prevented from traveling by a genuine circumstance or reasons, for examples, death, injury or serious illness of the passenger, close relative or friend, redundancy or jury service, you may postpone or transfer your trip to another person, provided he or she meets all the requirements relating to respective tour chosen and accepted.
  • NEPAL PASSPORT & VISAS.
    It’s more than obvious that all clients must have valid passport with least of 6 months validity. Nepalese visas can be obtained on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal or from your home country Nepalese Embassy and Consulates.

BHUTAN TRIP BOOKING AND PAYMENT:

In order to book Bhutan trips, you must send TRIP BOOKING FORM prior to 30 days with 40 % Payment in advance. This payment should be done per person.

For direct deposit in our bank account, please contact thehimalayanjourneys.com, as we have right to cancel your trip in case you do not pay us on time.
We accept Visa and MasterCard with extra 04% surcharge or levy as processing fee.

In certain cases and circumstances, we might accept your last minute booking prior to 20 days of your arrival date.

BHUTAN CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHANGES:

There will be no refund if he or she cancels the trip or leaves the trip for any reason whatsoever. There will also be no refund for any meals, accommodation or services not used.

(II) If you are prevented from traveling, there will be no refund either. You do not have transferring or postponing options as the Bhutanese government has strict Tourism policies.

BHUTAN VISA-A client must have a passport with at least 6 months validity. As you are unable to obtain visa to Bhutan, you need to send your passport details to us for visa applications at least 45 days prior to your arrival in Nepal. 

TIBET CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHARGES:

  • Cancellation notice is to be sent 20 days prior to our trip departure date and should be in writing. Cancellation shall be valid only after the approval from thehimalayanjourneys.com and after deduction of 50% from the trip amount send to us as an advance payment.

(ii)       There will be no refund to clients who provide cancellation notice in less than

20 days. There will also be no refund to clients if he or she leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily, and the company will not entertain you with refund.

(III)       If you are prevented from traveling by a genuine circumstance, for
examples, death, injury or serious illness of the passenger, close relative or friend, redundancy or jury service, you may postpone or transfer your trip to another person, provided he or she meets all the requirements relating to that tour. A fee of $100.00US per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than four weeks prior to a trip departure date, if less than 30 days, there will be no refund.

TIBET PASSPORT & VISAS:

You must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from a return date. As you are unable to obtain visa to Tibet, you need to send your passport details to Remarkable Adventure Trek for visa, for this, Remarkable Adventure Trek requires your passport at least 20 days prior to your departure date.

If you prefer payment through credit card, please download, print and complete the PDF form and mail it as an attachment to thehimalayanjourneys.com with photocopies of your passport and credit card of both sides.

For credit card payments, 3.5% extra will be levied as a credit card processing fee.

Risk and Liabilities:
All Nepal and neighboring Himalayan countries trips are conducted under a strict rules and regulations of respective countries Government and tourism board.

Thehimalayanjourneys.com will not be liable for any change or cancellation of the trip under unavoidable circumstances like change in rules and regulations of the respective countries of travel, government restrictions, natural disasters, political instability, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, breakdown of vehicle, etc. Any extra cost incurred due to such circumstances shall be borne by the clients themselves. Therefore, travel insurance is highly recommended.

Postpone the trip:
A written notice should be sent to us 30 days prior to the trip departure date.
In case of postpone of Nepal trips, minimum USD 150 will be charged as a current trip cancellation charge and the remaining amount will be transferred for the postponed trip.

Incomplete Tour:
The company will not be liable for any refunds or compensation in case of any incomplete tour, treks or expedition in whatever the reason.

Unforeseen Circumstances:
If your trip gets cancelled due to some unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters, war or unfavorable climatic conditions, thehimalayanjourneys.com will arrange or reroute the trip for you to another safe destinations.

Even though if your trip will be not be the one chosen, your money will not go in vain.

Your personal belongings:

Nepal Mountain Company Pvt Ltd will not be liable for any damage or loss of your luggage or property. They are at your own risk even on treks and expeditions, as we make sure that every clients valuable and baggage reach safely to designated camps.

During Tour and Treks or Expeditions:
In case you commit any unlawful act during your tour which compels you to leave Nepal, The Company will not refund you the amount paid.

Insurance Cover and Doctors Advice:

Please remember that thehimalayanjourneys.com adventure related company leading trips towards high mountains and climb or passes, where all clients must obtain life and medical including travel insurance to be on the safe side.

We also need your medical background stated and recommended by your medical doctors that is you are safe and with sound health for the trip chosen.

We do have a commitment that all trips we run a winner with fully satisfied clients however in mountains and high altitude, accidents and other disaster might happen without any warning or notice.

For emergency and medical evacuation we do require your travel and medical insurance with any form of quick and immediate transportation like Helicopter to reach the victims at the nearest medical post and hospitals.
