Trek to Tsum Valley is a trekking in Nepal- specially inside Manaslu trekking region. The off the beaten route, it is a less trekked trekking route in Nepal. The isolated valley of Tsum is popular for its Tibetan a like living styles and the cultures. Bordered with Tibet, the valley is mostly influenced by the Tibetan Buddhism. The several Chortens, Gompas and the Monasteries reflects the influence of Tibetan Buddhism. Among them “The Rachen Gompa” is the main highlight.

The Tusm Valley route is also popular for the stunning views of mountains. The mountain ranges the Tsum valley trek includes are Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Hiunchuli and more. The finest waterfalls, the diverse landscapes, the silent rivers and the interesting suspension bridges are other attractions of Tsum valley trek. Tsum valley is also the spiritual place as well. It is believed that the Buddhist saint Milerapa has mediated in the mountain caves around the Tsum valley. The word “Tsum” is taken from the Tibetan word “Tsombo” which means vivid.

Tsum valley 16 days’ trek also includes visiting of vibrant local villages, the glacier rivers, the fine forest of pine and rhododendrons as well. The best months to trek Tsum valley are March, April, May and September, October and November. As Tsum valley is a restricted area; the travelers must issue the restricted area permit and have to take the Nepal government authorized person/guide with them.
