Everest Base Camp with Tented Camp

Everest Base Camp Trek and Overnight at Base Camp(EBC) is a unique Everest base camp trekking adventure that allows you to spend a night at a tented camp in the base camp of Mount Everest. Unlike the usual Everest base camp trips, we offer you to trek to Everest base camp and stay overnight camping there.

Our Everest base camp camping trek is a 13 days adventure from Kathmandu valley. On the first two days of the trek, you will explore the famous Kathmandu city. Then, you will be taking a scenic flight to Lukla. Elevated at 2860 meters above sea level, Lukla is the gateway to Mount Everest. The first day of the trek is from Lukla to Phakding and is on the easy trekking trail. The second trek is to Namche Bazaar from Phakding. The uphill route includes mountain views, suspension bridges, and local Sherpa villages. On a clear day, you can also collect the first glimpse of Mount Everest.

At Namche Bazaar, you will have an extra day for acclimatization. Here a short hike to the Everest viewpoint is recommended. During the walk, you can collect superb views of the mountains and also visit the famous Everest view hotel. In your free time, you can then explore the Sherpa capital, aka Namche Bazaar.

The next day, the trek continues to Tengboche. Tengboche is also famous for the Everest viewpoint. Crafted beautifully with the Himalayas and the magnificent Tengboche monastery, it is one of the best places for the Everest base camp trek route. Savior, the best sunrise and sunset views in the Himalayas and pay a visit to Tengboche monastery to take the blessings. Furthermore, from Tengboche, the trek enters the high Himalayas’ dry land. Dingboche is the next place to stay for acclimatization during the trip. On the rest day, hiking to Nagarjun hill is recommended as it offers fascinating views of the high Himalayas.

Upon spending two nights at Dingboche, the route advances towards Lobuche and then to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep. On the regular trekking schedule, trekkers stay overnight at Gorakshep in a local lodge. But our Everest base camp trek itinerary offers a different taste as you will be staying overnight in a tented camp at base camp. Then after, following the same way back, you will be getting back to Lukla. From there, with a regular flight, you will get back to Kathmandu to end the fantastic journey to Everest base camp.

Like other trekking, this is also a seasonal adventure. The best time to trip to the Everest base camp trek and overnight at base camp(EBC) is spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November).
