Island Peak Everest Base Camp and Fly back by Helicopter

Everest Base Camp Trek with Island Peak Climbing and Fly back by Helicopter is one of the best adventures in Everest. This fantastic trek and climbing takes you to Everest Base Camp, then to Island Peak climbing, and ends with a scenic helicopter ride from Dingboche to Lukla.

Fifteen days of Everest base camp, Island peak climbing, and flying back by Helicopter starts with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Same day with a couple of hours of walking, you will get to Phakding village for the night. The next stop is Namche Bazaar- the Sherpa capital and one of the most significant settlements in the Himalayas. The route then goes to Tengboche village- a small settlement with the biggest Buddhist monastery in the Everest region. This place is also famous as the Everest sunrise point too. En route to Dingboche, spotting Himalayan musk deer and snow leopard is most likely. Dingboche is a small Sherpa settlement.

We always recommend our trekkers do side hikes of Everest viewpoint and Nagarjun hills. A side hike to Nagarjun hills is always wonderful from Dingboche. Additional hikes to higher points help you to get into thin air and make trekking much more accessible.

Rapid Island Peak

Island Peak Everest Base Camp Trek and fly back with a helicopter tour, then direct to Lobuche. It then eventually goes to Everest base camp via Gorakshep. Before heading to Island peak, you will take a wonderful hike to Kalapatthar. Kalapatthar is one of the best viewpoints to see Mount Everest in the Everest region.

Upon completing the Everest base camp trek, you will retrace back to Dingboche. From there, taking a different root, you will be trekking to Chhukung village. Chhukug is a small settlement with good views of mountains. With a final push from Chhukung, you will climb up to Island high camp. You will get to the Island Peak summit with seven to eight hours of inspiration. After successfully making the Island, you will retrace back to Dingboche.

On the next day, you will take a Helicopter ride back from Dingboche to Lukla ( 10 minutes helicopter ride) before flying back to Kathmandu.
