Best seasons and Permits for Gokyo Lakes Trekking

• The best seasons to trek Gokyo lakes are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). And April and October are considered the best months. Trekking to Gokyo Lakes in the months of winter is doable. The Gokyo Lakes trek in December is one of the best experiences. Although trekking to Gokyo Lakes is not suitable in the monsoon. (June to August).
• Permits needed for the Gokyo lake trek Nepal are Sagarmatha National Park Entrance Fee and Pasang Lhamu Municipality Entrance fees. The cost for these permits is US$55 in total. Both of the permits for the trek can be issued on the way.
