After a 5-hour hike, you’ll arrive at Chhomrong, a charming Gurung settlement nestled in the shadow of the towering Himalayas, where you can marvel at the majestic Macchhapuchre.

Continuing your journey, you’ll traverse Lower and Upper Sinuwa villages before reaching Bamboo, the gateway to a meat-free zone. From there, you’ll go to Dovan and then to Himalaya overnight.

Day three of your trek takes you to the Fishtail Base Camp via Deurali, where stunning panoramas of the Annapurna Massif’ll greet you. Pushing forward, you’ll complete an easy uphill trek from MBC to ABC, covering a distance of approximately 5 kilometres. The final leg of your hike, from Fishtail Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp, takes about 2 hours and rewards you with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the surrounding peaks.

On your fourth and final day, you’ll witness an awe-inspiring sunrise at Annapurna Base Camp before boarding a scenic helicopter flight back to Pokhara. This 25-minute journey offers a spectacular aerial perspective of the Himalayas, magnificent landscapes, and unique villages.

4-Day Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return Itinerary:

  1. Drive to Siwai (3 hours), then trek to Chhomrong (2170m/5-6 hours hiking)
  2. Trek to Himalaya (2840m/6-7 hours hiking)
  3. Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m/5-6 hours hiking)
  4. Helicopter flight back to Pokhara (25 minutes)

Annapurna base camp trekking for 4 days, starting with a short drive to Siwai. From Siwai, the trek goes through the local villages passing the super landscapes with occasional views of the waterfalls. After five hours of trekking, you will reach Chhomorong, a beautiful Gurung settlement in the lap of the Himalayas. The superb views of Macchhapuchre can be collected from Chhomorong. Leaving Chhomorong, you will pass the two beautiful villages of Lower and Upper Sinuwa, then to Bamboo. Bamboo onwards, you will be entering the no meats area. Gradually, to Dovan first and then to Himalaya overnight.

The following day, you will reach Fishtail base camp via Deurali with the beautiful views of Annapurna massif. Moving further, the route from MBC to ABC is easy uphill trekking. The distance from MBC to ABC is approximately 5 kilometres of walking. The final section of the trekking from Fishtail base camp to Annapurna base camp takes 2 hours of hiking. At Annapurna base camp, you can collect the best sunrise views in the Annapurna massif. ABC offers 360 views of the mountains.

On the final day, after collecting the superb sunrise at Annapurna base camp; you will take a scenic helicopter flight from ABC to Pokhara. The flight time from Annapurna base camp to Pokhara is about 25 minutes. The fantastic flight near the Himalayas, over the superb landscapes and unique villages, is stunning.
