Annapurna Base Camp Trek 2022/2023 is one of the most popular trekking in Nepal. The trip to the 10th highest mountain in the world is more than 100k trekkers trek to ABC every year. It can start the trek to Annapurna base camp, either from Kathmandu or Pokhara. Depending upon the trekkers’ time, it can do the ABC trek from 4 days to 10 days.

Aannapurna Base Camp trekking 2022/2023 permits

There are we need two permits for Annapurna sanctuary trek. The first permit needed for the trek is the Annapurna conservation area permit. The cost for the ACAP permit is NPR. 4,000 per person. The ACAP permits can be issued at the Nepal tourism board office in Kathmandu and Pokhara as well. The papers needed for the Annapurna conservation area permit are 2 copies of recently clicked photographs and the full details of the passport and the visa.

Similarly, another permit needed for the Annapurna base camp is Trekkers’ Information Management System Card (TIMS). The TIMS cost US$10 per person if you are issuing from a government listed trekking company in Nepal. Whereas, the TIMS cost US$20 per person if you issue it individually. And the TIMS card can be issued at TAAN offices in Kathmandu and Pokhara, respectively. The documents needed for TIMS card are valid passport and visa details and recently clicked photo of the trekker.

Normally, the budget for Annapurna base camp is from US$650 to US$1000 per person. Although the cost of ABC trekking is depended on the type of the trekking. The normal cost for group trekking in Annapurna is about 650 US$. Whereas, the solo Annapurna base camp trekking may cost US$850 to US$1200 per person.
